This is a space created for guinea pig parents to discuss and submit helpful information about GuineaDad products, share tips and advice about guinea pig care, sharing stories and photos of their guinea pigs, and to help out new and hopeful guinea pig parents. 

Be Helpful & Stay on Topic

The goal of this forum is for guinea pig parents to help each other out and offer relevant, useful advice to each other. Content, advice, and opinions that you post here should be honest and based on your own experience, and/or based on medical or professional consultation that you’ve received. 

Don’t post content that is obscene, pornographic, lewd, or that contains nudity or any kind of sexually graphic subject matter. 

Don’t post content that invades the privacy of others. This means you should not post phone numbers, email addresses, mailing addresses, or any other kinds of personal information. Do not post links to sites that are meant to take this kind of information. 

Don’t impersonate or pretend to be other people or organizations. 

Don’t post content that encourages illegal activity such as violence, illegal drug use, underage drinking, child or animal abuse, or fraud.

For forum discussions that focus on a particular topic, your submissions should be related to that topic. Your reviews and feedback about our products and company can be shared on our guineadad.com website on the respective product pages. 

Questions relating to product pricing, availability, or orders should not be posted here, and should be instead directed towards our customer service team, which you can contact directly through our Help Desk site. 

Respect Others and Be Kind

We value diverse opinions, which means you may disagree with some of the guinea pig content shared by your fellow guinea pig parents. In order to foster a friendly and welcoming environment for everyone, it is important that we be respectful of each other.

Don’t post content that is defamatory, harassing, inflammatory, libelous, or threatening. Don’t use profanity or other kinds of obscenities. Do not express negative and hateful opinions and intolerance towards others based on race, ethnicity, nationality, gender or gender identity, religion, sexual orientation, age, disabilities, or promote other entities with views on these topics. This is a guinea pig forum, and there is no reason to discuss these kinds of topics in this space.

Don’t spam posts or repeatedly send messages to other people and on forum posts. 

Questioning the expertise of others in regards to guinea pig care is OK as long as it is done in a respectful, constructive manner. 

Don’t engage in name-calling or attack people when they disagree with you. Engage in respectful, calm and mature discussion—it’s important to remember that everyone has their own opinions on guinea pig care.

Promotions and Commercial Solicitations

In order to ensure that the Community Forum content is helpful and relevant to helping out fellow guinea pig parents, any kind of content that consists of advertising, promoting, or solicitation is not allowed, whether directly or indirectly. 

Don’t post content that is in relation to promoting your work, your relative’s or other associated business products or services. Only internal links, meaning links to GuineaDad products, GuineaDad Blog posts, and other guineadad.com links are allowed.
